Vote for 'Member Of The Year' Win SanDisk 16GB microSDHC Card And Handy Kingston Micro Reader!

Over the last couple of weeks the MF Moderators, Admin and Members of the Dev team have discussed what to do with the SF/MF’s 'Member Of The Month' award and we came up with some great ideas on how to improve it and what is even more importantly, how to involve more participation in process of nominating, voting and awarding.

But that's not all, for the first time we are running the Member Of The Year Competion and offering some really cool prizes for the winner as well as for the voters. It is time to let you all decide who will be our first SF/MF Member of the year and to win either 16GB microSD card orfree software liceneces.

This is just yet another clear and simple proof that here at Symbian Freak, we really care about our visitors, and we love being able to reward community members, each one of who have done remarkably a lot to make this site stand where it is and not be a dream broken very soon. We are constantly trying to spread joy, friendship and good-will among members by investing the site revenue back in the community and awarding members as often as possible.

You see, Symbian/Maemo Freak traffic going crazy lately, thousands of the unique visitors per day altogether with increased activity over at our forum section that now counts almost 150 000 members causes lots of problems on the server side and requires fast hardware and huge bandwidth which costs a lot but, not to mention the da** crisi but fortunately we are earning more than this whole SF thing costs.

You see, SF is basically a hobby that's gotten out of control lately but it is still nothing more than enthusiastic site that I managing in my spare time. I am not a paid blogger and I didn’t started this site to make me fortune I would like to invest dollars that coming from Google’s adds back into community.

Despite the global economic crisis my work goes well, and I can earn enough for a decent living through my own hard work in design and prepress business so I really don’t need anything from the SF at the moment and therefore I simply want to share this revenue with you because we earned together actually.

So, in short, we need your help with the member of the year, and basically all you need to do is to vote for the member who is the most helpful, polite, or just give a thank to a member for any other worth while reason.

The luckiest voter among you will win SanDisk 16GB microSDHC Card with Kingston Micro Reader as a main prize at the end of the competition and another one will win a free software licenece, that’s it, simple as is, just don’t forget to leave comment over there so that we know that you vote.
